...One of the tools we will use is a tapered wedge shaped jewelers file with one edge ground smooth (to protect against filing sideways in that direction.
... We will use the tapered wedge shaped jewelers file with one edge ground smooth (to protect against filing sideways in that direction, to file both sides of the bridge foot until the G foot is raised to 306 HZ and the E foot is raised to 287 HZ. (see tap references above.)
  Tap directly in from the side (see video)
...One of the tools we will use is a tapered round shaped jewelers file to remove material evenly from both sides of the bridge foot unit the bridge foot is Lowered to 306 HZ G or 287 HZ E side.
...One of the tools we will use is an Exact-O blade knife with a new blade.
..Arrow shows the down tap direction, on top surface of the bridge cross bar just above the 'maker's cut' on the outside edge.
...If the down tap is too high in frequency, take delicate slide cuts across the existing maker's cut, constantly checking tap frequency.
..Stop when the tap tone is same as bridge foot on that side:
306 HZ on 'G' side and 287 HZ on 'E' side {same as bridge foot, that side.}
...Now if the down tap above the maker's cut is too low: Slowly raise the tap tone up until it matches goal (same as foot that side).
..We do this by taking a LIGHT swipe with the jewelers file evenly on the bottom surface of the outside just BELOW the makers cut. Stop when you reach the goal.
