   These views give an idea of the beauty and depth of finish. Of course, the finish was not been leveled and polished. It must dry for some time before that is possible.
   These photos were taken just after the last varnish coats had been brushed on. The surface dries on the surface in a few hours but is said to take up to eight years to fully cure.
  I use instrument oil varnish (made in Europe) for my finish. The other choice in common usage is a spirit (solvent) based varnish. Both types have been in use for hundreds of years.
