..The fitting of the feet of the bridge is the first step of a successful Bridge for our Violin.
..The Bridge Feets' curve should exactly match the top curve shape of the top plate.
..The back of the Bridge should be perpendicular to the curve of the Top Plate when in position.
..Next, we want to establish the Top Curve of the bridge. The shaping of this top curve will largely determine if the strings are easy to play, and playing two strings at once minimized. The proper positioning of the string heights over the fingerboard.
..These are the critical factors all relying on the careful and correct shaping of this top curve.... {before this step is taken, the Fingerboard must first be completely shaped and glued in place; it must be already acoustical tuned; it must have the proper string 'dish' in it's top surface to prevent sting 'buzzing'; It must have its' sides dished in to compensate for the above mentioned 'dish' shape. [The first lowers the tone of the top surface tap tone, and the second raises it back up to the goal tap tone frequency : (227 1/2 HZ downward from above, and 242 HZ horizontally from the side of the fingerboard, both evenly all over or all along.]}
